Prepare your documents
Confirm your email and legal name in the signed-in verification form before preparing documents. Choose an accepted government-issued ID for your country. Add its front and back, or the photo page for a passport, plus a selfie holding that same ID and any additional evidence the form requests. Each photo must be a JPEG or PNG under 1.2MB. Larger phone photos are compressed here before upload.
Follow the camera and submission steps
Photo readability is checked before a case is filed. A request to correct a photo is not an identity decision, a rejected case or a promise of human review. If a camera check is required, follow the signed-in form: look straight, then follow the circular head check or the camera prompts it shows. A gallery photo cannot replace required liveness. If camera access fails, check browser permissions, close other apps using the camera, or try a device with a camera. You can cancel the camera check and keep your prepared photos. When the form offers automatic submission after a new camera check, completing it sends your selected ID photos for verification. Follow the form's submission instructions. Camera check complete, sending documents, documents submitted and identity approved are separate states. Follow the latest recorded pending review, approved or rejected status in /verification; do not infer approval from camera success.
Recover and check status
If your completed camera check is saved, review your photos, then submit. Restoration does not start the camera or send documents automatically. Replace the highlighted photo, then submit again. Your other valid photos are kept. A completed camera check can be reused only while the server still accepts it; changing the document type or identity details requires another check. If your camera check has expired, take it again; your valid photos are kept. Photos are not promised to survive a deliberate full reset or discarded identity-change evidence. Your submission may have reached us. Check its status before trying again. A lost response does not mean rejection; a pending case must not be submitted again.
Keep identity information private
Only submit identity documents through the signed-in verification flow. Never send IDs, camera images, biometric data, tokens, passwords, recovery information or one-time codes in support chat.
Verified Plus and other requests
Verified Plus uses the in-account enhanced application at /verification when available; follow that page's eligibility or availability notice. Premier and exceptional requests use support at /contact#ticket-form. Alma cannot grant or promise a level.
