A BTC sale can use a BTC balance already in your ebitpoint account or a deposit from another wallet, when the selected route is available. The review labels the Ghana cedi amount as an estimate. For external deposits, it is before the network fee; the order records the fee and resulting payout after processing.
- What does the ebitpoint Sell rate mean?
- It is GHS per US dollar of Bitcoin value, not cedis per whole BTC. The estimate uses the BTC amount, Bitcoin market price in USD and this Sell rate. A Buy rate prices a different transaction; use the Sell review and its selected payout account for this sale.
- How does wallet funding change the fee and next step?
- For BTC already in ebitpoint, select your wallet balance: no blockchain network fee applies and you do not send a new deposit. For BTC in another wallet, review Minimum amount and Provider/network fee, create the order, then use its deposit address. The Estimated GHS payout is before the external deposit fee; the resulting payout uses the amount left after processing.
- Where does the GHS payout go?
- The sell flow lists your active, saved Ghana payout accounts. Check the account label, provider and masked number on the final review against your saved payout method, then follow deposit and payout progress in your account.
- What if the deposit window closes before I send?
- An order funded from another wallet shows a countdown for its deposit window. If the window closes, the order is cancelled and you should not send Bitcoin to that address. A deposit you had already sent is still detected and credited automatically; contact Support if it does not appear.
